This site was based on a layout by BlueRobot that is available here. It was then hand coded to what you see now. The site was coded in CSS and XHTML, using a wonderful program called HTML-Kit. Download it an give it a try if you want.

Unfortunately, this site will not work with older browsers. In fact, CSS is not fully supported by even the newest browsers. Even though CSS was developed in 1996, the technology is not yet fully embraced by the public. This is because people do not upgrade their browsers. If you are not using the newest version of your browser, then urged to please upgrade. It is a painless and easy process that should be done by everyone that uses the internet.

These standards were developed along time ago. Unfortunately, they have not fully caught on yet. Standards like CSS that allow web designers to do amazing things and allow them to do them quicker then ever. We can now edit an multiple page web sites by editing only one file. This new technology leaves some people behind that have not upgraded their browsers yet. Old browsers hinder the web's advancement and doesn't allow designers to use standards that were introduced many years ago. It was decided that these new standards would be used because this site is about technology and is viewed by mainly technology enthusiasts. Being the Tech Savvy readers that you are, we chose to give you a nicer site by using CSS and XHTML.

Actually, we are being quite considerate. We are helping the web's advancement by adopting standards like CSS and and XHTML.
